The Management of Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State, on Monday announced the resumption date for staff and students after the mid-semester break.
There were speculations that the school will not resume until the Kwara State government ease the curfew imposed on Erin-Ile and Offa after the renewed communal clash.
However, a statement by the spokesperson of the school, Mr Olayinka Iroye, on Monday read, “the Management after extensive deliberation, and in consultation with Security Agencies on the ground had resolved that the Polytechnic should resume from Mid Semester break on Tuesday, 23rd March 2021.
He noted that the school will commence all academic activities Wednesday, 24th March 2021.
“Staff and students are however enjoined to comply with the curfew period of 6 pm to 8 am pending when the curfew will be reviewed and relaxed.”
