Kemi Aweda, Osogbo

Two female identified as Suliyat Tajudeen (20yrs) and Ayomide Abdulazeez (20yrs) have been remanded in Ilesha Correctional Center for alleged attempt to murder Osun State Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola during #EndSARS protest in the state.

The police prosecutor, John Idoko charged the two on a six-count charge bordering on attempted murder, malicious damage, burglary and stealing.

However, the two pleaded not guilty to the offence preferred against them.

The counsel for the two, Nurudeen Kareem applied for their bail on the most liberal term.

The prosecutor opposed the bail stating that they will jump bail considering the overwhelming evidence the police have against them.

The Chief Magistrate, Dr Olusegun Ajilara remanded them to Ilesha prison and adjourned the case to 20th November 2020 for the hearing of bail application.
