Omoyele “Yele” Sowore who is a pro-democracy campaigner, Nigerian human rights activist, former presidential candidate, and founder of an online news agency Sahara Reporters was reportedly chased away by #EndSARS protesters.
His attempt to beg and explain was antagonised by the #EndSARS protesters who didn’t want to listen to him.
According to source, he was chased away because they don’t want the protest to end as a political protest also based on accusations of not being transparent enough.
The protesters however asked to leave the protest ground because he wasn’t invited and his presence was not needed there pertaining to their protest.
We could recall that Omoyele Sowore failed to provide evidence to his claim of some people making billions of naira from the #EndSARS protests.
In the video going viral on social media, especially Twitter, the protesters was seen pushing, crying and shouting at the Sowore to leave.
He was therefore advised to continue showing his support for #EndSARS on social media and not in person.
